It was 6:20 this morning when my alarm went off I dragged myself out of bed. It was with a whole new appreciation for morning show hosts and producers and all the other moving parts that are involved. Why, you ask, did my mind go to thinking about radio? For two reasons actually; the first being I was on-air with Chris & Meg on the 101.5 Energy FM morning show (with a shout to Ian as well) to chat about Tight ‘n Bright coming up tomorrow night. The second is because radio has always been of interest to me and I must say, I’ve got a great radio voice.

If you missed my outstanding chat, fear not…I cracked out the tape recorder and eagerly awaited the 8:40 play time so I could share it with the world and you could all hear my amazing radio voice. Have a listen.

So don’t you agree that I sound great on the air? Not bad considering it was over a cell phone and the conversation was pretty natural. I think if they need a substitute in the morning show, they should bug me don’t you? If you haven’t already, get your tickets now!
