Tight ‘n Bright is a fundraiser to raise in excess of $20,000 for the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary and the Alberta Cancer Foundation. The name, Tight ‘n Bright, is a theme. It’s an excuse to wear tight and bright clothes while enjoying music and dancing in a party-like atmosphere.

Proceeds from this event will be donated directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation with designated use at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.

Some of the evening highlights include:

  • World renowned DJ Kav* on the turn tables all night long.
  • Raffles for amazing prizes, including a WestJet flight for 2 anywhere they fly!
  • Dress code is in full effect! Dress in Tight ‘n Bright.

Cancer is a real fact

I have been working in Event Fundraising for cancer for a few years, and the reason why I work in this type of work is because I like dealing with people and working for such a great cause. It creates new challenges every day that I come to work. It is amazing to see so many people wanting to give back to the fight against cancer because everyone knows someone that has cancer or that has lost their battle with it.

The facts are real. 2 in 5 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime but we can help that by fundraising in our communities, letting people know we are here to help them along their journey and to let the general public know that 30-35% of all cancer can be prevented by eating well, being active and maintaining a healthy body weight.
